Martha is a young girl who was living on the streets, selling maize to survive. She endured hunger, loneliness, exploitation and many difficult challenges of life.
When Harmony Children’s Foundation found her, she was in a very poor condition. She was taken off the streets and given a safe place to stay. On arrival, she received care, love and support.
Because of the harsh conditions on the streets, Martha developed health complications. She was immediately taken to the hospital and received proper treatment.
She is now healthy and doing well.
Martha is a bright and hardworking girl. She wants to continue her education, build a better future and one day give back to others who are in difficult situations.
